Show HONEY BEES 4h Meeting Meeting was called to order by Linda Jensen.. The girls met at the home of Maude Anderson. Opening prayer was by Cathleene Watkins. Song practice was led by Kay Anderson. Roll call and minutes were read by Wilma Whitehead. All the girls were present. Instructions Instruc-tions for next meeting were given by Mrs. Anderson. Refreshments were served by . The following fol-lowing officers were elected: Ann Dye, president;. Linda Peterson, vice-president; Arlene Olsen, secretary; sec-retary; Karen Peterson, reporter; Jolene Olsen, song leader; Pamela Bastian, health chairman. First meeting was held at the home of the leader, Mrs. Roberta Crozier. Mothers were invited to attend the first meeting. Miss Mary Lois Reichert spoke to them on the purpose and goals of 4-H work. It was decided that summer meetings would be held each Wednesday Wed-nesday afternoon. ' Members are Kathy Gardner, Bonnie Eksund, Pamela Bastian, Joyce Larsen, Karen Peterson, Linda Lin-da Peterson, Jolene Olsen, Arlene Olsen, Ann Dye and VeLoy Whiting. Whit-ing. After the business, new officers were electted. Officers are: president, Rosalie Gilbert; vice-president, Lucy Lusty;, Lus-ty;, secretary, Mary Ellen Evans; reporter, Colleen Bell; song leader, lead-er, Margie Ross. They discussed their project which is first year cooking. They then sang songs. Reporter Colleen Bell, h-h-h-h M'NME SEWING CLLUB The Arcadia church house, Fri day, June 1 was the scene of activity ac-tivity as the M 'n Me Sewing Club members began their articles for this year. The meeting, conducted by President Pres-ident leanor Capson, started with prayer, followed by the 4-H Pledge, led by song and cheer lead er, Eleanor Capson. The minutes were read and approved. The health lesson was given by Marsha Lusty. Members then worked on their projects. Next meeting will be June 8 at leader, Barbara Gilbert's home. We have chosen Cooking I for our project this year. Our menu for next week is drop cookies, banana milk shake and egg salad sandwiches. Our next meeting will be heid June 4 at our leader's home. Reporter Jeanne Seeley h-h-h-h FASIIIONETTES BIUEBELL The Fashionettes met Thursday, May 31 at 11:00 at the home of our leader, Lois Goodrich. Only three members were present pres-ent out of six, which were Carolyn Caro-lyn Goodrich, June Powell and Janet Seeley. The remaining girls are Rita Powell, Shana Lee Winkler Wink-ler and Carma Atwood. Meeting was called to order by last year's president, Carolyn Goodrich. Officers were elected as follows: president, Janet Seeley; vice-president, June Powell; secretary, Carolyn Caro-lyn Goodrich;, reporter, Rita Powell; Pow-ell; song leader, Carma Atwood, and recreational leader, Shana Lee Winkler. Our club is made up or 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th years clothing. 4-H meetings will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. each week. Prayer was by Janet Seeley. |
