Jensen Family Moves, Honored At Party A farewll Party was held Friday Fri-day evening at the recreation hall in honor of the Fahy Durfee family, fam-ily, who moved from our community commun-ity Saturday morning. Golden Bastian acted as master of ceremonies. cere-monies. Bishop Stoddard presented a book to Mr. Durfee and Viola Jensen presented Mrs. Ethel Durfee Dur-fee with a book from the ward MIA, The two groups of Beehive girls' sang a song of farewell to Deanna and Mrs. Mildred Brough. Her Beehive teacher presented her an Indian bracelt from the Beehive girls. Dancing was enjoyed by the large crowd. Punch was served. MEMORIAL DAY VISITORS The following people from Salt Lake City visited here over the Memorail Day weekend: the Virgil Jensen and son, Larry, and daughter, daugh-ter, Connie; Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Jensen; Mr. and Mrs. Van Jensen and daughter, Lydia, and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Fahy Durfee and daughter, Deanna, were dinner guests Wednesday evening at the J. E. Jensen home. Square dancing was enjoyed Tuesday evening under the direction direc-tion of Leah Chandler and Golden Bastian. Punch was served. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen and daughters, Irene and Joyce, were Vernal visitors Monday. CLOSING SOCIAL FOR RELIEF SOCIETY The Relief Society's closing social so-cial was held Tuesday afternoon. Lula Dudley led the group in the games. , Myrile Moore won high prize, and Jean Stoddard won the booby prize. A delicous plate lunch was served to those attending.
