Show I cojtniiCTfc&T NICHOLAS JOHN WEILAND Funeral services for Nicholas John Weiland, 73, who died at the residence of a daughter, Mrs. Voyne Walker, in Roosevelt, Friday, Nov. 28, were conducted Tuesday noon in the Vernal First Ward Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, by Bishop William Wai lis. . , - He was born in Zudensee, Schleswig - Holslein, Germany, Feb. 14, 1879, He came to America Amer-ica in 1901 and became a naturalized na-turalized citizen in December, 1909, while living at Audubon, Iowa. He married Edith Alma Wes-ten Wes-ten at Audubon in 1911. She died about 10" years ago. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Surviving are three sons. Walter Wal-ter Weiland, Los Angeles, Calif.: John Weiland, Burbank, Calif , and Joe Weiland, Sioux Citv. Iowa; four daughters Mrs. Ellen Walker Roosevelt; Mrs. Mar-'garet Mar-'garet Weight. Salt Lake City; Mrs. Mary Mann, Burbank. Cal . and Mrs. Laura Ward, Weams, Virginia; and a brother. K. H. Weiland, Everly, Iowa. Burial was in the Roosevelt Roose-velt City Cemetery. |
