Bert has really been beaming beam-ing over the arrival of the bundle bun-dle of joy the little fellow is still wanting for a name, but in all probability it will be Dennis. His brother. Randy is not the least bit jealous. The Wesley Dickersons are elated over their lovely new home, which they have just bought from Orson Stevens. It is white stucco with a red brick fireplace at the front. The moving mov-ing escapade took Dlace Tuesday. Tues-day. Understand Max Burdick bought the duplex owned by the Jesse Aliens. Enjoying the Thanksgiving weekend in Salt Lake City wero Mr. and Mrs. Howard Harrison, Nancy and Bob. They visited with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Georg-e Harrison and Mr. and Mrs. Amon S. Brown. Leaving Sunday to make their home in Price were Mr. and Mrs. Ron Page. Mr. Page has been transferred triers with an oil company. Mrs. Rebecca" P. Larson, of Smithfield, spent Thanksgiving with her son, Dt, R. V. Larson, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Holly recently re-cently moved into the home of Mrs. J. C. Hacking. Mr. Holly is the assistant Scout executive. Lynn Whitlock is n-irsing a broken leg suffered when a calf kicked him last week at his ranch. His leg was broken in six places. Elmo, Verl and Robert Wil-kerson Wil-kerson spent the Thanksgiving holiday in Ioka with their grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. C. Marchant. Ted Olpin is in Heber City with his folks recuperating- from a sinus operation performed in Salt Lake City recently. Mrs. J. O. Orser attended a meeting of Utah Bank Women in Salt Lake City last Sunday. Wonder why you can't touch Orman Sullivan with a ten-foot pole? It's none other than that he is the father of his first son, born last Friday at the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. The new arrival hasn't received a name yet as the Sullivans felt sure they would have their fourth girl, so just had girls' names selected. He weighed in at 8 lbs. 6 oz. Mrs. Reva Owen returned recently re-cently from attending a school lunch convention in Los Angeles, An-geles, California. Myrtle Lambert spent the Thanksgiving holidays in Wyoming Wy-oming with her sister., Fred Ferron returned home TuesHay after spending two weeks in Pasadena with Mrs. Ferron and his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Tusler, and family. He reports that his grandson, Tony Tusler, who has been suffering from a gun-shot wound, has been released re-leased from the hospital, but is still taking therapy treatments as the injury caused paralysis of Tony's lower limbs. Mrs. Duane Hancock and two sons, of Salt Lake City, are here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Presley Timothy. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Yack and son, Steven, accompanied by Mrs. Yack's mother, Mrr Charles Roller, of Neola, returned re-turned home Monday after visiting vis-iting in Denver, Colorado, .and in North Platte, Nebraska where Mrs. Yack's sister, Mrs. George Tomlinson, and family reside. They were gone a week. Mrs. T. A. Sullivan is recuperating recup-erating at her brother's home in Salt Lake City. She underwent a goiter operation at the L D S Hospital recently, and plans to return home this week. Harold Dillman returned last week from Kansas City, Mo , where he attended a two-week .chool for missions, in which Baptist Churches participated. participat-ed. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dillman and children were Salt Lak3 City visitors on Thanksgiving. Mrs. Dillman remained for a brief visit. Springville visitors during tha Thanksgiving holidays were Mr. and Mrs. John Swenson and family. .; I Miss Yvonne Fretwell was home from the U S A C at Logan to spend Thanksgiving with her mother, Mrs. Irene Fretwell. ; Salt Lake City visitors last j weekend were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Johnson and children. Louis Laris, Donald Laris and Ellen Rawlings were visitors iv Salt Lake City last Friday. Anetta Nicholson, of Ontario, Oregon, was a weekend guest of Dorthy Dillman. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rigg'.e and Daughter, Melody, spent last weekend shopping in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Wick Swain and son, Noel, of Provo, and Mrs. Mamie Nielsen, of Quincy, Washington, were Thanksgiving guests of Mrs. Pearl Swain. Weekend visitors at the Swain home were her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. James Ernshaw, of Salt Lake City. Dinner guests at the Van Winterton home for Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing were Mr. and Mrs. Sharon Holgate and family. Also present was the Wintertons' son, Eldon, who is attending the B Y U. Mrs. Randall Stewart and children, who were local visitors last weekend, and Mrs. Don Johnson and children, wers Sunday dinner guests at the Omni Om-ni Winterton home. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Labrum were Denver visitors recently, where they witnessed the showing of the 1953 Pontiac. Thev stated that it is really a streamlined automobile. Dave Nicholson and daughter, Annette, of Ontario, Oregon, were brief visitors here Monday. They were former Roosevelt residents, Mr. Nicholson being associated with the J. V. McLea Furniture Store. The Lynn Poulsons had as houseguests for the Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing season Mrs. Paulson's parents. par-ents. Mr. and Mrs. J. F. Prit-chett Prit-chett and children, Frank, Lee and Susan, of Mt. Pleasant, and Mr. and Mrs. Allan Smith and baby son, of Ephraim. Mrs. Smith is Mrs. Poulson's sister. The Seth Wilson home- was the scene of a family gathering for Thanksgiving. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. David Da-vid Wilson, Larry Wilson and the Omni Wintertons enjoyed the day together. Mr. and Mrs. Axel Birch and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Halen enjoyed Thanksgiving with the Fletcher Learnings and Elmer Birches in Salt Lake Citv. Mrs. Marvell Neilson and daughters; Beverly and Jackie, left last 'Friday to' visit ' her mother, Mrs. Belle Reese, in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Steve Bellon and son, Stevey, enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Les Mullins in Salt Lake City. Steve, who has been in the hospital there for the past several weeks, was able to join them. Mrs. Homer P. Edwards, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Cook and Mr. and Mrs. Clem Labrum and families fam-ilies spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Bingham with Mr. and Mrs. Elmo Nelson. Carol Lynn Cook and Kay; Labrum, accompanied by their mothers, heard Les Brown and his orchestra Friday night at the Rainbow Rendevoux. Manti, visitors on Thanksgiving were Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Jenkins Jen-kins and family. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Labrum spent Thanksgiving in Spring ville and several days shopping in Salt Lake City. Renae Gilbert arrived home to spend the Thanksgiving holidays holi-days with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Gilbert. She plans to enroll at the B Y U after Christmas. Christ-mas. Dinner guests at the Theron Leavitt home on Thanksgiving were Mr. and Mrs. Orrin Gari-ner, Gari-ner, of Hayden, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Gardner and Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Memmott and families. Mr. and Mrs. Anthon 3. Christensen and Douglas spent the Thanksgiving weekend in Rupert, Idaho, with Mrs. Chris-tensen's Chris-tensen's sister, Mrs. Allen Hyde and family. Mr. and Mrs. Con Wilkerson went to Price to visit his sister, Mrs. Eliza Averrett. who was ill. They returned to Duchesne Monday, where they learned of the death of Thomas Wiife-eron an older brother. David W. Wilkerson Wil-kerson accompanied them home from Price. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Snyder lef undav to return to his base at San Diego after a ten-day furlough fur-lough spent here and at Ver nal with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Adams and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Snyder.
