Show Lose Two Games The first pre-season basketball basket-ball home game was held at Altamont Al-tamont on Saturday, Nov. 29. The visitors were the Braves from North Summit, against whom the Altamont team had played on Monday, Nov. 24, at North Summit. I The former game was won 1 by four points by the Braves and the game Saturday was il-so il-so won by the Braves, but only by one point. The Altamont 2nd team won its first game against the Braves second team on Nov. 24, and lost to them here Saturday. A turkey and two geese were given away as door prizes. There were cakes and cookies, made by members of the F H A auctioned auc-tioned off during the evening. Music for the dance was furn. ished by Tal Wardle and his orchestra. or-chestra. The FFA president is Bob Fieldsted. Mrs. Lee Blanchard has moved to Salt Lake City for the winter. Her husband is being treated in a Salt Lake hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Anderson and son, Bryce, were guests ofj Mr. and Mrs. Vick Brown and family on Thanksgiving. Buster Nelson was home from the BYU to spend the holiday weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs Max Nelson. Miss Karen Nelson and Miss Dawn Pace were guests of Miss Rosalee Brown on Thanksgiving Day. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Hall and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Anderton and families enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Max Nelson. Fred Brown, who is attending the U S A C at Logan, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Brown. Mr. and Mrs. Acel Miller, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend week-end with' Mr. and Mrs. Newt Miller. Miss Arlene Parry ' and Miss Marylin Mower, who are attending at-tending school at Logan, spent the weekend here with their parents. |
