Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Waldemare Nielson' was taken to the Roosevelt hospital last week, suffering with pneumonia. Claud Allred and Hillery Workman are working for Jesse Allen at Pleasant Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Allred, of Myton, visited here Sunday with relatives. Mrs. Laura Seeley entertained at a party Wednesday afternoon, the occasion being her birthday anniversary. The following were guests: Jennie Goodrich, Loret-ta Loret-ta Murray, Janette Nielson, Essie Es-sie Lambert, Sylvia Goodrich, Agnes Larsen, Alice Mathews, and Martha Thorsen. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Goodrich and two children, of Provo, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Goodrich and son, of Helper, spent the week-end here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler Wink-ler and family spent Friday and Saturday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Smith Mrs. Martha Smith and John Asa Webb, of Price, spent Friday Fri-day and Saturday here with relatives. rel-atives. The Goodrich family reunion was held Saturday, Oct. 21, in the Bluebell Ward chapel. There were 111 descendants of the George A. Goodrich family present. pres-ent. Each family met in a group and had dinner, after which a program was presented. Following Follow-ing the program the remainder of the time was spent in visiting and getting acquainted. Family members .came from Lehi, Vernal, Ver-nal, Roosevelt, Ballard. Mt. Emmons, Tridell, Ioka,' Helper, Bluebell and Bonanza. Mr. and Mrs. John Thorsen attended the farewell' mission pry testimonial at Utahn on Saturday evening for their nephew, ne-phew, Calvin Broadhead. |
