Show LAPOHIT Mable Jenkins Scouts Win Game The Boy Scouts of Tridell played play-ed basketball Thursday evening at the ward chapel with the Lapoint Scouts. The score was 18 to 40 in favor of Lapoint. Lela Miller is spending her vacation va-cation in Salt Lake City with a sister, Phyllis, and a brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Palmer of Tooele. i Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Norton and family, of Clearfield, came out last Friday evening and visited vis-ited his mother, Mrs. Sarah Norton, Nor-ton, and Mrs. Norton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Hullinger, of Vernal, and other relatives. His mother accompanied them home for a week's visit. She will also visit a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Art Norton, and family of Salt Lake City and another an-other son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elroy Norton and family at Orem. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Daniels and son, of Gusher, were overnight guests of Mrs. Daniels' grandparents, grandpar-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Rile Blackburn. Mr. and Mrs. Otis Horrocks, of Bennett, and Leonard Horrocks of Vernal were visitors of their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Horrocks Hor-rocks on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Colton and children, of Vernal, spent last Sunday night with Mrs. Colton's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thurmer Rasmussen. Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Swain, 0f Steamboat Springs, Colo., were overnight guests of Mr. and Mrs Sike Thompson and were visitors of a brother and sister-in-law, Mr and Mrs. Orvil Swain. Mr. and Mrs. Harold (Dort Swain, of Roosevelt, visited last Sunday with Mr. Swain's sister Mrs. Mildred Mowrey and family' Mrs. Vera Bigelow is a happy grandmother of a son born to Mr and Mrs. Bernard Cochran of Thermopolis, Wyo. on March 7 Mrs. Cochran will be remembered as Twila Bigelow. Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Caldwell and baby , have moved back to Davis ward after helping his father fath-er at his home. Hayden Foster has been on the sick list this week. Merrill Rasmussen returned home from Blanding Friday night where he has had employment alt winter. Dr. Mathew Mansfield came in from Orem last weekend to get his wife and son, who have been visiting vis-iting her parents, Mr. and Mrs Golden Winn and family. Mr. and Mrs. Golden Winn tosk their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Boyd Winn, and baby to Salt Lake City Tuesday. Mrs. Winn put her baby in the hospital. It was in the hospital hos-pital for 5 weeks and came home for 5 days and had to be returned, seriously ill. MIA GIVES PROGRAM The MIA gave a musical program pro-gram Tuesday evening for Mutual. |
