Show Olsfriot Court Sets Six Criminal Cases There have been six criminal cases filed in the district court at Duchesne during the first half of 1956. This number compares with two such cases for this same period last year, reports Porter L. Merrell, Duchesne County clerk. Last year, these two cases were both felonies, robbery; the six cases this year are listed as one misdemeanor and five felonies, particularly described as one drunken driving, misdemeanor and felonious crimes of two burglaries, one of carnal knowledge, and two cases of issuing checks against insufficient funds. Last year, there were seven criminal cases filed all. year in . this county. To Plant Shrubs The Duchesne Couty Commissioners Commis-sioners have asked Leland Wright, county treasurer, to have W. E. Broome . of ' Myton to assist with planting of shrubs on the courthouse court-house grounds. ,This minute was made at the June 20 meeting of the board of commissioners. Duchesne County has accepted accept-ed a $500 check from Frank Mc-Clurge Mc-Clurge on the purchase agreement for Blue Bench land. If the option on this property is exercised, this amount will apply to the purchase price, according to Porter L. Merrell, Mer-rell, county clerk, in whose office the check was receipted, and credited to the county's general fund. |
