Show MOHTWELL May L. Mower Scouts Present Program Friday The Scouts, under the leadership leader-ship of Gail Anderton, scoutmaster, scoutmas-ter, presented a program Friday evening in the ward chapel for the parents. They demonstrated what they are learning in scouting. The speakers besides the Scout troop were James E. Bacon, Bishop James E, Larsen, James L. Powell, Dan Pace, Maurel Taylor and Mel-vin Mel-vin Mower. Refreshments' were served by the mothers of the Scouts. Arvin Hullinger and Myron Has-lem Has-lem went to Parker, Arizona to find work. Mrs. Haslem will, remain re-main at her parents' home, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Hamblin. Mr. and Mrs. James L. Powell made a trip to Salt Lake City last week to visit friends and relatives. rel-atives. Mrs. Shirley Peters and children are visiting at the Ed Blanchard home. An oyster supper was served to the ward teachers Monday by the bishopric of the ward. Montwel was well represented at the funeral of Otis J. Horrocks on Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Boren and children of Craig, Colo., visited at the Cecil Boren home over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rowley of Roosevelt and daughter, Phyllis, visited at the Maurel Taylor home Sunday. Speakers at Sacrament meeting were Floyd Labrum and Reita Hamblin. |
