Show Parents' Day Draws 300 To High School For the third consecutive year Parents' Day at Roosevelt high school again proved a most successful, suc-cessful, with approximately 300 'parents attending school, which shows a definite increase over last year. Both Dean C. Christensen, superintendent of Duchesne county schools, and Lawrell Jensen, Roosevelt high school principal, stated that the outstanding out-standing representation of parents par-ents was the best thing that ' could happen in our school. Many problems were discussed I by the superintendent and the principal, followed by a wide discussion from the parent group. Parents attended regular classes of their children during the morning session, affording them the opportunity of getting acquainted with the teachers and finding out just what Mary or Johnnie may be achieving or not achieving in a particular class. Many suggestions were made by parents, which will, no doubt, result in much good for the school. At noon a hot luncheon was served, followed by a program and group discussion, led by the school heads. Mrs. Gilbert McKenna, Parent-Teacher Association Asso-ciation president, welcomed the parents, after which remarks were made by Mr. Jensen, followed fol-lowed by several chorus numbers num-bers by the Girls' Glee club, under un-der the direction of David Wat- pents are , all.
