Show $oka Mrs. Violei Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus Word has just been received that Florence Percival has reached her mission field and is laboring Youngstown, Ohio. President Ray E. Dillman met her at Denver and took her to the mission home, where she was a dinner guest of the Dill-mans. Dill-mans. Mrs. J. B. Lemon returned home Sunday of last week from a 3-week visit in Duchesne, the guest of her daughter, Mrs. Max Hartman. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett were Mr. and Mrs. Weaichiki and daughter, and Mr. and Mrs. Seaport, of Minnesota; and Mr. and Mrs. Craig Caldwell, of Vernal. Ver-nal. Ioka ward was well represented represent-ed at Conference Saturday and Sunday. Mrs. Orie Cook and children, of Bluebell, spent Saturday morning with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Angus. Mrs. O. A. Dart and Mrs. Tom Gentry attended the Ladies La-dies Aid meeting at Myton Thursday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lemon were Sunday visitors at the W. G. Gentry home. The Primary officers gave the children a Hallowe'en party Tuesday. The children were cos-i cos-i turned. They enjoyed a dance and refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Freeman, of Salt Lake City, visited Saturday Satur-day and Sunday with Mrs. Freeman's Free-man's grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John A. Angus, and with her aunt, Mrs. Eva Percival, and family. The Primary officers held a meeting Saturday night at the home of Mrs. Marie Benson. They planned the Christmas party par-ty and took care of other business. busi-ness. Present were Marie Benson, Ben-son, Zelma Lloyd, Alporta Campbell and Edna Drollinger. Marie Benson went to Roosevelt Roos-evelt Sunday night to care for the children of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Benson for a few days. Alton D. Percival is recovering recover-ing from an accident which occurred oc-curred last Sunday when he and Jim Drollenger were thrown from a horse they were riding. Both boys suffered bruises and Alton was knocked unconscious. He was rushed to the Roosevelt hospital where he was treated for his injuries. He was released from the hospital the same day. John A. Angus was on the sick list Sunday, but is recovering recov-ering from his illness. |
