Show CHICKEN DINNER A delicious chicken dinner was featured at the Roosevelt hotel Saturday evening when Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Wilkins entertained in honor of a group of boys who will enter military service in the near future, and members of the Sun Oil crew. Their guest list included Mr. and Mrs. Glade Richardson, Des-iree Des-iree Spences, Ruth Borg, Earl Jackson, Tommy Mowrey, Lawrence Law-rence Henry, Tommy Phillips, Luther Fuller, J. C. Ridgeway. Jack Thompson, and John Burns. TUESDAY BRIDGE Members and guests of Tuesday Tues-day bridge club held their weekly week-ly party Monday evening at the home of Mrs. Lester Mullins, hostess. Four tables were arranged for a delicious plate luncheon, after which bidge formed the remainder of the evening's diversion. di-version. Prizes were won by Mrs. Howard Harrison, Mrs. Gordon Harmston, Mrs. Vean Bair and Mrs. Ted Tussler. Mrs. Paul Stringham,' Mrs. Jack Gibson, Mrs. Irene Fret-well, Fret-well, Mrs. Clifton Memmett and Mrs. Ted Eussler were club guestg, FAREWELL PARTY Prior to their departure for Richfield where they will engage en-gage in a shoe business, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Jones, of Myton, were guests of honor at a party staged Thursday evening, November No-vember 2, at the Frontier Grill. Mrs. Reed Lyman and Mrs, Sylvan Syl-van Reynolds were hostesses. A delicious dinner was served against a clever "shoe cake" centerpiece, which was frosted in white with chocolate frosting for the . sole, shoe laces and stitching. The artistic cake was baked by Ronald Page. Enjoying the evening's festivities fes-tivities were Mr. and Mrs. Howard How-ard Reynolds, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Reynolds, Merlin Reynolds, Reyn-olds, Howard Moffitt, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Nelson, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lyman, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Page, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Anderson, Jack Harmston, Joyce Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Harmston, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Perry, of Bingham. |
