Show Ellen Bracken The M-Men and Gleaners met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd Sunday evening, Oct. 29. Their son, Keith, was host. A. W. Seeley and his son, DeVon, of Salt Lake City, were out over the week-end to go deer hunting. Delmar Gardner, of Bingham, visited and went deer hunting with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardner. Gard-ner. A farewell party was held in the chapel Friday evening, Nov. 3, for Orlan Cook. He entered the mission home Monday morning. morn-ing. Among some of the visitors outside the ward who attended were Mr. and Mrs. Gard Goodrich, Good-rich, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich, Good-rich, Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich, Good-rich, Bluebell; Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Goodrich, Roosevelt; Mrs. Floyd Case, Mt. Emmons; Mr. and Mrs. Axel Anderson and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Sprouse, and Mrs. Hollis Hullinger Hul-linger and family, Roosevelt. A program was given, after which dancing was enjoyed, the music being furnished by the Ballard ward orchestra. Mrs. S. B. Kettle was called to Willard Friday by the serious illness of her sister. Her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Ora Showell drove her from Salt Lake to Willard. Mr. and Mrs. Garn Bodily, of Salt Lake City, have been guests at the home of Mrs. Bod-ily's Bod-ily's mother, Mrs. Pearl Jenkins. Jen-kins. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Shisler, his son, Karl, of New Orleans, and Miss Elaine Poulson, of Duchesne, spent Saturday evening, eve-ning, Oct. 28, at the home of Mrs. Straussie Birchell, of Vernal. Ver-nal. Mildred Irmen had the misfortune mis-fortune to fall from. a horse and break one of her arms, last Mr. and Mrs. Russel Todd attended at-tended a missionary farewell at the Moffat chapel Friday evening, eve-ning, Nov. 3. Our sympathy is extended to Jesse Hullinger and family, at the death of his brother, Ivan, at Vernal, st week. Mrs. E. C. I Mrs. Ernest Betts has suffered during the past week with an infection in one eye. Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Ross, from Park City, are visiting at the homes of their children on the R. W. Ranch. Leland and Walter Bingham came from Salt Lake City Sunday Sun-day and took their father, Chas. Bingham, back with them. Mr. Bingham planned to go to Oakland, Oak-land, Calif., by plane on, Monday. Mon-day. He will visit for some time with his three daughters, Mrs. Steve Casalina, Mrs. Randy Linch and Mrs. Marc Wilkins. |
