Among the first deer hunters to return after successfully bagging bag-ging their deer were Cecil Peterson, Pet-erson, Harvey Riggle, Ron Ek-sund Ek-sund and Ken Oberhansley Mrs. Samantha Peterson is Jt for a short time. after which she will return to California Cali-fornia with her daughter and son-in-law, where she has been employed. Jenna Lee Keele visited a few days in Provo with her father Jenna Lee is staying in Neola with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Pete Duncan, while going to school in Roosevelt. The eighth grade boys and girls of the Roosevelt high school enjoyed an evening of roller skating at .Victory Park last Wednesday evening. A number num-ber from Neola participated. The M.I.A. road show was a huge success. A large crowd gathered at the chapel to watch the young folks put on their shows. Wesley Allred broke his arm in two places last week in a fall from a truck. The Hallowe'en dance and party last week was a big success, suc-cess, with prizes for the best costumes going: 1st to two little cousins who were dressed as monkeys; 2nd to Mrs. Rose Peterson Pet-erson as a witch, and third to Thurza Sprouse, as Tojo. Larry Burton entertained ten little guests on his 10th birthday anniversary at a party given at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Jim Rhoades. Word was received Monday that Mrs. Ora (Bastian) Labrum had crushed her hand quite badly while hunting deer. Mr. and Mrs. Jake Smith are the parents of another baby girl born Oct. 28. Parents day at Roosevelt high school was well attended by Neola parents. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Mitchell, of Kamas, visited here Saturday with Mark's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dace Mitchell. Bishop and Mrs. LaZelle Hen-rie Hen-rie motored to Salt Lake last week on business. Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hoopes, Mrs. Loren Pike, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Anderton, Jr., and Danny visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Eksund and family. |
