Show Mrs. Ray Jordan motored to Mt. Pleasant Saturday to bring her daughter Joyce, and Joyce's roomates, and Yvonne Fretwell and her roommate to Salt Lake to spend the weekend. Mrs. Fret-well Fret-well joined the group at Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Oldroyd and family spent Friday in Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Doc H. Ritchson and daughter, of Laramie. Wyo., spent the week-end in Roosevelt, where Mr. Ritchson participated in the deer hunt. They were accompanied ac-companied by Pfc. Neil Wilson, who is stationed at the Francis E. War.ren AFB, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Wy-oming. George B. Wallace and Ruel Redd, of Price, flew to Roosevelt Roos-evelt Sunday in Mr. Redd's plane. They were dinner guests of Mr. Wallace's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Cliff Memmott, and family. Mrs. Rae Scholes, who has been a patient at St. Mark's hospital. Salt Lake City, was released Saturday and is staying stay-ing with a sister in Salt Lake. Earl Jackson, driller for the Sun Oil Co., left thir week to visit relatives in Texas before reporting for military duty. Mr- and Mrs. Earl Timothy went to Salt Lake City Tuesday to be with their son, Tommy, whose wife died Tuesday morning morn-ing in a Salt Lake hospital of complications following child birth. John Burnes, an employee of Carter Oil Co., left this week to take his examination for military service. Dwain Buchanan was in Salt Lake Tuesday on business. Mrs. L. D. Peterson and son, Danny, of Oakland, Calif., left Sunday after spending a week with Mrs. Peterson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Marsing. Mrs. Eugene Harmston drove as far as Salt Lake Monday with her daughter, Mrs, George Miller. Mrs. Miller was enroute to her home in San Angelo, Texas, Tex-as, after a three-week visit here. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillman and family are vacationing in Texas. Douglas Marsing, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Marsing, left Sunday Sun-day for San Francisco, where he will take his pre-induction physical examination for military mil-itary service. Lt. Com. Stanley S. Orser, recently returned from Korea, arrived in Salt Lake this week to visit his father, Lynn Orser, who has been in a hospital there since suffering a serious heart attack several weeks ago. Mrs. Orser, who had spent five days in Roosevelt, returned to Salt Lake Saturday. Cal Wilkins, a pre-med student stu-dent at University of Utah, spent the week-end hunting deer with his parents, Mr- and Mrsl Paul Wilkins. Glen Bair, a student at Wasatch Wa-satch Academy, Mt. Pleasant, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Vean Bair. He enjoyed a deer hunting expedition with his father. |
