Show Marines Set Up Recruiting Office In City The United States Marine Corps has established a recruiting recruit-ing office in the up-stairs por-1 tion of the Roosevelt Commer-cial Commer-cial club, and MSgt. R. E. 1 Baker has been assigned to mus-' ter recruits for this branch of the service. I According to Sgt. Baker, his office hours will be between 8 a. m. and 4 p. m., daily except ex-cept Sunday. A native of Fargo. North Dakota, Sgt. Baker has been working in and out of the Salt Lake office for several years, and has been a member of the Marines for 18 years. Sgt. Bak- j er served in the South Pacific during the last war with the 2nd and 4th divisions. He is unmarried. The United States Marine corps will accept enlistments from 17 to 28, inclusive, and for young men they have an unlimited quota. Women will also be accepted on a limited-quota limited-quota basis. |
