Show USDA COUNCIL SEES EARTH SERIES FILMS Fourteen members of the United Sattes Department of Agriculture council of Uintah j and Duchesne counties meH Tuesday at the Frontier Grill for a monthly business meeting , and to see the film. "Living Earth Series." The film has been produced by the Encyclopedia Encyclo-pedia Britannica and will be shown to Duchesne and Uintah county high schools by the forest for-est service. During the session, the council coun-cil discussed the programs set I up by the various agencies, with the president, Wm. Hurst, of i Vernal, taking charge. He is I the supervisor of the Ashley National Forest. Other officers of the USDA council are: two vice-presidents, Joe Clayburn, member of the Duchesne county PMA committee, commit-tee, and Grant Parrish, of the j Soil Conservation Service of j Vernal; and secretary, Freda j Dayis, home demonstration ag- ent with the Extension service at Vernal. The next USDA council meeting meet-ing is slated for February 13 at Vernal, when the program will be presented by the Indian Service The monthly meetings are alternated al-ternated between Roosevelt and Vernal. |
