Church of Jesus Christ of Laiter-Day Saints, has announced an-nounced a full schedule of activities for the year 1951. he reports stake conference is set for Feb. 3 and 4. The presidency of the Roosevelt Roos-evelt stake, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Hollis G. Hullinger, Russel Todd and Dr. R. V. Larson, have announced a calendar of activities activ-ities for the year 1951, and in 1 a relatively short time, a printed print-ed program will be circulated to, all stake and ward leaders. According to Pres. Hullinger, a new idea is being attempted I this year with the stake high council. The twelve members of the council have been assigned as-signed one of the twelve wards in the stake to visit during the entire month, to act as an envoy en-voy of the stake officials, and to assist the ward bishoprics with any problems they might have. At the beginning of a new month, the high councilman will move to another ward, and by the end of the year he will have visited each of the 12; wards in the stake. He is expected ex-pected to attend all meeting in the ward each Sunday. Members of the high council are: R. Lamont Nielson, James E. Bacon, Alden D. White, Russell Rus-sell H. Robison, J. Rulon An-derton, An-derton, Paul E. Nelson, Paul Murphy. Melvin J. Peterson, Albert H. Harris, Van D. Winterton Win-terton and Edgar B. Stoddard. An important part of the calendar cal-endar is the schedule of ward conferences and the stake temple tem-ple endowment schedule. At least two days per month are-scheduled are-scheduled for temple endow-ment endow-ment work and the stake .genealogical .genea-logical committee will be active in trying to stimulate attendance attend-ance at the Salt Lake temple on those Hatps The ward conference schedule as announced by Pres. Jan 14; Moffat, Sept. 9; Myton, Feb. 11; Montwel, Sept. 23; Neola, March 11, Randlett, May 27; Roosevelt. Dec. 9; Roosevelt Second, Nov. 11, and Whiterocks. Oct. 14. According to the calendar, stake quarterly conferences are scheduled for Feb. 3 and 4; April 21 and 22; August 18 and 19, and Nov. 3 and 4. In each instance one of the general authorities au-thorities of the church will preside. pre-side. Schedule of auxiliary conferences, con-ferences, which are presided over ov-er in the various wards by some of the stake boards, find the Primary conferences set for March 4: the stakp Sundav school convention is on docket for May 20; with the genealogical genealog-ical convention on June 17 and Relief Society conferences set for Oct. 21. Monthly meetings on a stake basis are as follows; Priesthood and Relief Society union meetings meet-ings on the third Sunday of each month at 2 p. m., except in August, it will be on the second Sunday and in May on the fourth. On this day all Mel-chizedek Mel-chizedek priesthood quorums hold their monthly quorum meetings. On the second Sunday Sun-day of the month, except where conferences interfere, home mis-sioaries mis-sioaries are assigned each ward. Union meeting for the Sunday Sun-day school is held each quarter, on the second Sunday of the beginning of the quarter; the MIA holds a monthly union meeting on the fourth Wednesday, Wednes-day, except in December, when none is scheduled; the Primary holds its monthly meeting on the last Saturday at 1:30 p. m. The stake presidency and high council holds weekly meetings meet-ings every Wednesday, with auxiliary officers and quorum presidencies being called into conference at least once each month. This includes the welfare wel-fare committee. Ably assisting the stake presidency pres-idency in conducting its immense im-mense amount of detail work are John L.
