Show Fashion Show Viewed By Large Crowd The Roosevelt Stake hall was crowded to capacity Friday afternoon, af-ternoon, August 11, when the J. C. Penney Co., Christensen's, Robbie's Shop and the Small Frye Shop staged a fashion show as part of the U.B.I.C. celebration. cel-ebration. The season's newest fall fashions fash-ions in tiny-tots clothes, back to school, and- afternoon dresses, coats, hats and formals were i displayed by local models. Modeling for Robbie's Shop were Jessie Bastian, Charlene Bellon, Loya Benson, Wanda Reynolds, Bonnie Snyder, Bonnie Bon-nie White, Peggy Oldroyd, Diane Di-ane Hullinger, Yvonne Fretwell, ' Joyce Jordan, Renee Stewart, and Joanne Labrum. Display-I Display-I ing clothes from Penney's were Barbara Russon, Betty Jo S p r o u s e, Donna Todd, Lola Luke, Alta Phillips, LaRue Nixon, Nix-on, LaRue Laris, Minola Laris, Ellen Rawlings, Colleen Alexander Alex-ander and Barbee White. Renee Labrum, Lorraine Anderton, Marilyn Anderson, Joyce Mc-Kenna, Mc-Kenna, and LaJean Neilson modeled for Christensen's. Gay little cottons and best dresses, sport suits and coats were highlights of the after-! after-! noon's show, when tiny tots rep-: rep-: resenting the Small Frye Shop and J. C. Penney's took their ; turn at modeling. Thirty youngsters young-sters staged a charming and completely unaffected show. |
