Show Romney, Longden Guest Authorities At LDS Conference Elder Marion G. Romney, assistant as-sistant to the Council of the Twelve Apostles, and John Long-den, of the Church Welfare Wel-fare committee, will be the visiting vis-iting Church authorities Saturday Satur-day and Sunday at the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Stake quarterly conference, confer-ence, according . to President Hollis G. Hullinger. A priesthood leadership meeting, meet-ing, to bi '..-Li S-turday night at 7 o'clock for all Stake and ward priesthood leaders, will be followed at 8:30 by a welfare meeting for all stake and ward welfare committees. Sunday's general sessions will be held at 10 a. m. and 2 p. m. The Stake Primary board will serve lunch at noon. An evening program will not be held at the Stake house. Instead, In-stead, the evening program will give way to dedication ceremonies cere-monies at the Whiterocks chapel. cha-pel. Elder Romney will officially official-ly dedicate the building. The program will be under the direction di-rection of the Whiterocks bish- opric, composed of Preston At-1 wood, bishop; Gilbert Elling-ford Elling-ford and Elbert Smith, counselors; counsel-ors; and Cloyd Seeley, clerk. James E. Bacon, president of 'the Uintah Basin Indian mission, who has assisted Whiterocks citizens cit-izens in construction o f the chapel, will represent the high council at the dedication ceremonies. |
