Show Leeton-Bennett Delma Long Bennett defeated Ft. Duchesne Du-chesne in a Friday baseball game during the U.B.I.C. Mrs. W i n f r e d Long and daughters, Lorraine , and Beverly, Bev-erly, spent the weekend in Orem with Mrs. Long's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and 1 Mrs. Lawrence Young. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hor-rocks, Hor-rocks, of Lapoint, and Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Horrocks and children, chil-dren, of Ogden, were dinner guests Tuesday of Bishop and Mrs. Otis Horrocks. Mrs. Doris Haslem visited in Duchesne Thursday with Mrs. Harvey Partridge. Mrs. Emma Diamond returned Sunday to her home in Spring-ville, Spring-ville, after spending a week with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Clair Haslem Has-lem and family. Phyllis Russon is visiting in Salt Lake with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Russon, Mrg, Ardath Gray and children, chil-dren, of Rhode Island, are visiting vis-iting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Houston, while her husband, hus-band, Lt. Gray, is on duty with the navy. Mrs. Gertrude Meggs and children, of Salt Lake, visited last weekend with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Zane Asay and family and Miss Deane Asay left for Provo Saturday to attend at-tend the Seth Johnston fumily reunion scheduled for Sunday. Barbara Russon visited Sunday Sun-day with Vernal friends. Mrs. Zelma Lloyd, of loka, and Mrs. Gertrude Resmussen, of Roosevelt, visited the Bennett Ben-nett Relief Society, Tuesday. Ila Allred, of Salt Lake, spent Saturday afternoon with her sister, Mrs. Nell Horrocks. Paul Nelson, Douglas Law-son Law-son and Eldon Winterton, of Roosevelt, were the speakers at meeting: Sunday evening. |
