Show School District Appoints Fay Pope As Hepjf !i Morse Fay Pope has accepted the appointment as public health nurse for Duchesne County. She is employed by cooperative coopera-tive agreement by the Utah State Department of Health, the Duchesne County School District, Dis-trict, and the Duchesne County Commissioners. Contract basis is 40 per cent state, 30 per cent each for the school district and county. Miss Pope's appointment fills a vacancy created by the resignation resig-nation of Mrs. Evelyn Johnson of Roosevelt, who; moved from the county during- the summer. Miss Pope graduated from Sisters of Charity School of Nursing in Billings, Montana in 1949. She studied "Care 'of Premature Pre-mature Infants" at Johns Hopkins Hop-kins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland; and has recently finished fin-ished a year's public health nursing experience with the Baltimore City Health Department. Depart-ment. Her pre-school nursing work was completed at the University Univer-sity of Wyoming; and she is studying for a degree in nursing nur-sing from the University of Utah. Miss Pope has been assigned Room 22 in the Duchesne County Coun-ty Courthouse for her office. She is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Pope, of Duchesne. While residing in Duchesne, she will live with her grandmother, Mrs. Grace Hale. . 4 t . 1 MISS FAY POPE was recently re-cently appointed as public health nurse for Duchesne County. She replaces Mrs. Clyde Johnson, who moved to California in August. She will maintain her ' offices in the courthouse at Duchesne. |
