Show 40th Anniversary Bee Hive girls of the MIA celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Bee Hive organization in Mutual Tuesday, by giving the assembly program. They had a beautifully decorated cake which was served with punch. Visitors at Mutual were Pres. Hollis G. Hullinger, Alden White, high counoilman; Floyd Ross, Clarence Liddell and Bill Xelson, all stake MIA officers. Mr. and Mrs. Archie Benson received word of a grandson, bora Tuesday, Oct. 12 at Cedar city to Dr. and Mrs. L. G. Ben- ' son. Sir. and Mrs. Ralph Dart and ? family were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young at Mt. Emmons, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Foote and family were weekend visitors in Provo. Dorothy Stone went to Salt Jlake,,Cty' Saturday to attend the dedication of a plaqne in mem0ry nSf. WARD MAKES CHANGES Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday were President Hollis Hol-lis G. Hullinger, Clifford Drollinger, Drol-linger, Ezra J. Nixon, counselors, counse-lors, and James Bacon, high councilman. Music was a piano Solo, played by Jolene Ottosen, of Roosevelt. Edna Drollinger was released, as Relief Society work leader,' with Margaret Lloyd sustained to take her place; and Ann Michie, literature leader. In the Primary, Sylvan Riehens was sustained as assistant Guide leader. The MIA sustained Gladys Glad-ys Drollinger, Mia Maid leader; Dorlene Timothy, attendance secretary and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nelson, dance directors. Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Ostler and two children, of Salt Lake Oity, were weekend visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollinger. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Milburn, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Milburn and family and Mrs. Bud Sandoz, all of Bush, Colo.,, and Mrs. Vondy, of Snyder, Colo., visited Mr. and Mrs. Tom Milburn, of Ioka, recently. Dean Washburn made a business bus-iness trip to Salt Lake City Thursday. Mrs. Clarence Jones, of Hancock Han-cock Cove, was calling on Mrs. Francis Lloyd one day last week. Mrs. Dale Nelson, of Roosevelt, Roose-velt, spent Thursday with Mrs. Enid Nelson. Mrs. Duane Bracken and children chil-dren were overnight guests of Mrs. Bracken's parents, Mr. and M Charles Percival. The Bracken family left last week for Salt Lake to make their home. Reed Lemon was a Salt Lake Visitor last week. Louise Gentry came in from Mt. Pleasant Friday to spend the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry. Louise Lou-ise is a student at Wasatch Academy. Mrs. Senor Mortensen, of Myton, My-ton, and Mrs. Ethel Mortensen, of Salt Lake City, spent Wed- nesday afternoon with Mrs. Olive Ol-ive Sorensen. Evan Percival took a load of furniture to Salt Lake for the Bracken family last week. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Milburn spent last Sunday in Murray as guests of Mrs. Milburn's mother, moth-er, Mrs. Beatrice Jenkins. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fausett, Jr. moved to Roosevelt last week. |
