Show loka i Mrs. Violet Gentry Mn. Bertha Angui . Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillman, of Roosevelt, visited April 2 with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry. Glen Redmond, of Duchesne, called Wednesday on Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Angus. Mr. and Mrs. Senor Morten-son Morten-son visited last week in Eph-raim. Eph-raim. Mr. and Mrs. Austin Brokaw were Sunday visitors at the O. A. Dart farm. Marion Alexander, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, was an loka business visitor, vis-itor, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry and children and Mrs. W. G. Gentry Gen-try spent Sunday in Myton as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry. Rowena Russell attended conference con-ference Saturday and Sunday in Salt Lake City. Florence Percival motored to Salt Lake Saturday morning to attend conference. She was accompanied ac-companied by the Bank girls. They returned Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Duane Bracken and son, Jerald, visited Sunday with Mrs. Bracken's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Percival. The Sunday School presented an Easter program Sunday, with each class participating. M. J. Benson suffered broken ribs last week when he was thrown from a wagon while crossing a ditch. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Jones and family have moved into one of the Dean Washburn houses on the bench. EaVette Percival fell on a cart while playing last week, cutting her mouth and knocking a tooth loose. Several from loka, including members of the Bishopric, were in Salt Lake over the weekend, attending the LDS conference sessions. The M-Men and Gleaner girls held a banquet Tuesday evening at the Hugh Percival home. Twenty-four were present, including in-cluding the Bishopric and their partners and the class advisors. Tables were decorated in an Easter theme. Mrs. James Ames was taken to the Roosevelt hospital last Thursday. The loka Rainbow Foods 4-H club, under the direction of Marie Ma-rie Benson, entertained the loka Boys 4-H club members Thursday Thurs-day night at a party. Games and dancing were enjoyed, under the direction of Leola Freston and Evan Percival, who participated in recreational activity work at the recent 4-H club leadership week in Logan. |
