Show Troopers Holding Basin Blockade Troopers R. A. Devine, Sam Hatch, and Tom Semmens are now conducting a Uintah Basin Ba-sin road blockade, the object of which is to encourage drivers to put their cars in shape for the coming safety campaign. As of Saturday, 10 arrests and 34 warnings had been issued. From now on, throughout the summer, two blockades a week, on unrevealed days, will be held in different parts of the Basin. The troopers will check on defective lights, brakes, windshield wipers, horns, truck reflectors, and on' drivers' licenses. licen-ses. Trooper Devine also said the state road patrol is now on the look-out for persons who have been breaking off the road signs in the area.
