Show WE CELEBRATE THE BIRTH OF JESUS .... As we near the day we celebrate the birth of our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, we feel our inadequacy of being able to express our love to Him. The inspired words of Paul seem most appropriate when he exclaimed, with all his emotions aroused, "Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable un-speakable gift." We have this most wonderful Christmas gift to men offered by a loving, gracious, heavenly Father to this generation also. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life," John 3:16. The Holy Spirit does His work well, continually showing show-ing us the things concerning Christ. Yes, He leads the multitudes mul-titudes around to the place where they see anew the Christ Child, cradled in the manger. Many obey the example of the wise men, worshiping Him and offering their gifts to Him. Let us consider the best gift we can give to' the One who gave up heaven's glory to dwell among men and finally gave up His earthly physical life, shedding His precious blood, atoning for the sins of all who would believe. in Him, the Son of God. That gift can be nothing more or less than our very lives, and we are challenged by the words which fell from the lips of Jesus, "In as much as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me." As the world writhes in pain and sorrow, the result of sin and the conniving of ruthless war lords, the kind deeds done in the Master's name are so badly needed that everyone who names the name of Christ should help in applying "the balm of Gilead" to the wounded hearts. The "key" to the blessing of life, offered freely by Jesus Himself, is faith in this One who said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:6.
