Show Baptist Revival Meetings Offer Diversion Pastor William Trow announces announc-es that Revival Meetings will continue every evening at the Roosevelt Baptist church until Sunday, July 22, with services each evening at 8 p. m. Dr. Julian Atwood, of Texarkana, .Texas, is the speaker each eve- ning- 1 Dr. Atwood was pastor of the Highland Baptist church, of Dal- j las, Texas, for seven years, j ; which church has a membership of 2450. Before entering the full-time full-time evangelistic field, Dr. Atwood At-wood was pastor of the Baptist I church at Lamesa, Texas, a church of about 2200 members. In recent years he has traveled extensively in Europe and recently re-cently visited the Hawiian Islands. Is-lands. The public is urged to' attend the services each evening. Special emphasis is being i given to some of the services .... Monday night. July 16, will be family night, and families fam-ilies are urged to come and I sit in a body. Dr. Atwood will present the largest family present pres-ent with a personal gift. The subject for Monday will be, "Where Churches Came From." Tuesday night will be men's night. Everybody is invited. The sermon subject will be "The Greatest Sin a Man Can Commit Com-mit " Wednesday night Is special Sunday School night and all Sunday School workers and members will have special recognition. rec-ognition. Thursday is a special ladies' night, and since turn-about is fair play, the men will bring the women. Friday night will be Training Train-ing Union night. |
