Show Hit nwM Gayle Case Alaska Bound Are Perry, Carl Young Perry and Carl Young left Monday, July 2, on a motor trip to Alaska. They expect to be gone a couple of months. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Young en-.- tertained at a dinner and family get-together in their sons' honor the day before the trip began. Present, in addition to Perry and Carl and the hosts, were Mr. and Mrs. LaMar Nielsen and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Young, Bridgeland; Mr. and Mrs. June Young and children, Manti; and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Day and children, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Alma Carlile and son, Robert, of Woodland, spent a couple of days last week with their daughter and son-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Case. Robert remained for a longer visit. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Rogers and children and Mrs. Wm. Lloyd, Sr., of Salt Lake, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Crosby during the July 4 holidays. holi-days. On Sunday, July 1, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Evans enter tained at a family dinner in honor of the visiting relatives. Others present were Mrs. Fay Miles and children, of Mountain Home, Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Crosby Cros-by and Mr. and Mrs. Willard B. Mecham and children. Mrs. Farrel Mohlman entertained enter-tained at a party Monday, July 2. honoring little Nancy's 5th birthday anniversary. Assisting with the children who came to celebrate the event were Nancy's Nan-cy's grandmother, Mrs. Russel Todd, and her two aunts. Mrs. Wendell Johnson and Miss Joan Todd, all of Ballard. George Case has gone to Salt Lake where he has employment with the Chicago Bridge and Steel company. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Rogers, of Salt. Lake, visited one day last week with relatives in Mt. Emmons. They took the remainder remain-der of their furniture back with them. Mr. and Mrs. Rogers recently re-cently sold their home here to Elvin Thacker. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Lister and children, of St. George, spent Thursday night with Earl's mother, Mrs. Dicy Lister. Max Clark, who was home on furlough after the completion of his basic training, left .Tuesday, July 3, for Spokane, Washington. Washing-ton. His wife accompanied him . as far as Salt Lake. She is making her home here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Volney Boswell. Mr. and Mrs. Evan .Mecham and daughter, Suzanne, of AJo, Arizona, visited briefly last week with Evan's brothers, Del-mar Del-mar and Willard , B. Mecham. They were called to Utah by the- death of Mrs. Mecham's mother, Mrs. Clyde Lambert. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben C. Snyder, Sny-der, of Myton, called at the Floyd Case home Friday afternoon. after-noon. They had been to Altonah to attend funeral services for Mrs. Clyde Lambert. Mrs. Anna L. Evans is spending spend-ing a few days in Talmage with her daughter, Mrs. Laren Beck stead. |
