Mr. and Mrs. Richard Eksund of Vernal, and Mr. and Mrs' Ronald Eksund spent a couple of days in Salt Lake last week Mr. and Mrs. Claire Duncan and daughter spent a day last week in loka visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bird. A number of friends attended funeral services in Roosevelt Friday for little Marsha Hancock. Han-cock. A large crowd attended the Neola rodeo. Both the night rodeo ro-deo on the 3rd and the afternoon after-noon performance on July 4 drew good crowds. Mr. and Mrs. ' Burr and children, chil-dren, of Clearfield and Mr. and Mrs. Banjo Morrill and children, of Tooele, spent July 4 with Mr and Mrs. Dace Mitchell. Lucille Hutcheons, of Salt Lake City, is spending a few weeks vacationing in Neola with friends and relatives. Ann Peterson is spending an extended vacation in Salt Lake ,with her sister, Dorothy. Mrs. Thad Wilkerson is home from Salt Lake, where she has been attending summer school Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Keele attended funeral services for Charles Larsen in Duchesne Friday. Fri-day. Glen Woodard. of Salt Lake, and Morse Woodard spent the past week-end on a fishing trip. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Sullivan and daughter. Reah, of Roosevelt Roos-evelt visited Sunday at the Lionel Li-onel Jensen home. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Smith, from Union visited last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Duncan. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Whiting of Salt Lake City, visited in Neola last week. Mr and Mrs. Francis Crozier and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Me-cham Me-cham made a trip to Wyoming during the week to see Virgil, who is hospitalized there. Mr. and Mrs. Wendal Mitchell, Mit-chell, of Kamas, were recent visitors vis-itors at the Dace Mitchell home. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Devine and son, of Salt Lake, were here last week to purchase a truck-load truck-load of purebred Hereford cattle to place on the State Prison farm at Point-Of-Mountain. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Cummings. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Cummings and Dale, of Upalco, went on a fishing trip to Paradise Park during the week. Howard Andrews, of Roosevelt, Roos-evelt, made a business trip here F-iday Mr. and Mrs. Roger Horrocks. of Salt Lake spent several days in Neola last week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Malner went to Salt Lake last week to attend Willy Wilkerson's wedding. Mrs. Mary Crozier has gone to Coalville, Wyoming to visit Dwaine Peterson. Mr. and Mrs. Tal Wa.rdlp made a business trip to Vernal Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. David Baxter and family, of Orem, spent the week-end at the home of W. K Dye. Acel Wimmer, of Logan, spent several days last week with his mother, Mrs. Wimmer. Miss Dorothy Peterson came from Salt Lake to spend the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Max Horrocks and daughter, of Salt Lake City, spent several days last week at the Theron Horrocks home. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Peterson, from Pittsburg.
