Show To Honor Pioneers .... M I A Plans Celebration For Stake July 23 & 24 A rodeo on Monday evening, July 23, and an all-day program of events and activities. According to Mrs. Howard M. (Jean) Ivory, publicity chairman, chair-man, all rodeo events will be held at the Roosevelt Roeo grounds, beginning at 7 p. in. each day, with $310.00 being offered of-fered each day as prize money. The Roosevelt Riding association associa-tion is directing the rodeo' phase of the program. ' Activities of the second phase of the program will get underway under-way at 10 a. m., July 24, with a miniature parade, followed by a program between 11 a. m. and 12, an"li a band concert beginning begin-ning at noon. During the program, pro-gram, a kids' dance will be held both activities are scheduled for the L.D.S. stake house. Sports for the kiddies and all kinds of races will begin at 1:30. All this will be climaxed with a dance at the tennis courts, following the rodeo. There will be square dancing and ball-room dancing on the agenda both nights. |
