CARLOS SEELEY. resident of Bluebell, Blue-bell, recently were honored on Jheir 50th wedding anniversary, anniver-sary, when their immediate family, relatives and many friends called to wish them happiness in the years to come. By Gaxda Seeley BLUEBELL Mr. and Mrs. Marion Carlos Seeley, of Bluebell, Blue-bell, celebrated their 50th wedding wed-ding anniversary on Feb. 18, 1953. They were honored at a family dinner on Saturday evening, eve-ning, Feb. 21, and at an open house on Sunday afternoon,. Feb. 22, from 2 p.m. until 4 o'clock, at the home of their son, Wallace Wal-lace J. Seeley, in Bluebell. Those joining in to help them celebarte their anniversary from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Movell Seeley, of Ogden; Mr. and Mrs. Afton Seeley and two children, and Mr. and Mrs. Azel Seeley, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Albert Olsen, M.r. and Mrs. Harvey Latturner and Mrs. Sybil Jones, all of Price. Marion Carlos Seeley was born Oct. 23, 1881 in Mt. Pleasant, Plea-sant, Utah, a son of Don Carlos and Hannah Elizabeth Reynolds Seeley. Laura Hansen Seeley was born at Moroni, Utah, a daughter daugh-ter of Joseph F. and Emma Jane Stott Hansen. They were married mar-ried Feb. 18, 1903 at Castle Dale, Utah. Mr. Seeley worked as a coal ' miner for the U. S. Fuel Co. at Sunnyside in the winter and in the timber in the summer. He has worked in the coal mines at Hiawatha, Morland, and Stores, now known as Spring Canyon. They are the parents of six children, five of whom are living. liv-ing. They are: Francis M. Seel-el, Seel-el, San Francisco, Calif ; Movell Seeley, Ogden; Wallace J. Seeley Seel-ey and Mrs. Norman Goodrich, (Betty Lou), of Bluebell, and Afton D. Seeley, of Salt Lake. |
