Show LDS Stake Drama Festival Set For Saturday The LDS Stake MIA drama festival consists of the three best one-act plays presented by all wards of the stake, and will be staged March 7 at 8 p.m. sharp at the Roosevelt stake house. Final decisions on the three winners were given to Mrs. Bert Gardner, stake drama director, di-rector, by the judges, who were stake officers, and who stated that all presentations were well done, making it difficult to choose the three best plays Winning plays to be given Saturday evening are, "What Men Live By," Roosevelt Ward, directed by Bill Nelson; "Pin and Patches," Roosevelt 2nd ward, directed by Miss Suzanne Fiske; and "The Gossip," by the Montwel ward. Novelty numbers were also chosen by the judges from the ward presentations and will be offered -as entertainment between be-tween plays. , They include a blackout from the Ballard ward, musical!" numbers num-bers from the Moffitt and Neola wards; and a reading by Elsie Nelson from the Myton ward. , Honorary mention went to" the Myton ward because of their well-organized program. |
