Show Gold, Green Ball Attracts Crowd The Gold and Green Ball held Thursday evening was one of the outstanding events of the season. The ward hall was beautifully beau-tifully decorated in blue icycles and flowers. The theme of the ball was "Garden in the Rain." Sally Nelson and Jack Green were in charge of decorations and the theme song, "Garden in the Rain," was sung by Evelyn Eve-lyn Fausett, accompanied by Le-Rae Le-Rae Drollinger. The floor show was by 7 M Men and women of the ward, namely Betty Marsh, Cline Campbell, Sally Nelson, Dwain Richens, Maxine Nelson, Nel-son, Jack Green, Jolene Robison, Robi-son, Max Green, Cherril Drollinger, Drollin-ger, Sylvan Richens, LeRae Drollinger, Neal Muir, Rosalie Green. Larry Marsh. Dance directors di-rectors were Milo Campbell and Alporta Campbell. Tal Wardle's orchestra furnished music for the dance. A large crowd was in attendance atten-dance from Myton, Roosevelt, Ballard and Montwel. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smith, of Grace, Idaho, spent the weekend week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Russell Robison. Mr. and Mrs. Arden Drollinger Drollin-ger and Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Timothy and children were 'dinner 'din-ner guests of Mrs. Mary Ostler in Hancock Cove, Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. John E. Webb visited in Provo, Friday and Saturday with Mr. and Mrs. Or-vil Or-vil Hunter and family. Mrs. Jennie Woodward and daughter, Mrs. Gracie Dye and two children, of Neola, visited Monday with Mrs. John Angus. Mrs. Angus and Mrs. Woodward are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd were guests, Sunday, of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison, of Roosevelt. The Primary officers and teachers as well as the boys and girls are proud of the penny pen-ny fund for the Children's hospital. hos-pital. They collected around $42.00. Babies blessed in meeting on Sunday were the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Workman, who was given the name of Calvin Cal-vin Louis, and the infant daughter daugh-ter of Bishop and Mrs. James Lemon, was give nthe name of herrell MaDonna. |
