Show ARCADIA Mrs. Elsie Bird , . Duchesne MIA Presents Play The Duchesne M.I.A. presented present-ed a three-act play, " Aunt Nellie," Nel-lie," to a large audience from Arcadia and Bridgeland. Primary preparation meeting was held Wednesday night at the ward house, with ten officers of-ficers and teachers present. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tur-pening Tur-pening and daughter, of Salt Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Verl Roper and son, Allen, of Upalco; Mr. and Mrs. Grant Peel and daughter, daugh-ter, of Hanna, visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. 13. Lusty. Rose Gilbert. Garn and Ellen Gilbert, and Marilyn Zirker made a trip to Provo Friday, where Ellen Consulted a polio specialist Naomi Gilbert came in from Provo, where she is attending college, to spend the week-end with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert. Mr. and Mrs.. Bill Horrocks and son, of Tooele, visited old friends and relatives here Sunday. Sun-day. Celia and Rose Gilbert spent several days during the week at the home of Mrs. Eliza J. Gilbert Gil-bert in Roosevelt. Mrs. Thelma McKenna spent Friday visiting in Myton and Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen Jen-sen and son, Kent, spent a few days in Salt Lake City during the week. Mrs. Charlie Bird visited Monday Mon-day at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. O. Solmonson, at Roosevelt. Mildred Bird was an overnight over-night guest at the home of Mr: and Mrs. Clair Duncan, of Ne-ola Ne-ola Wednesday. Lynn Ross spent several .days in Salt Lake on business during the week. The following attended the Open House for Eliza J. Gilbert at Roosevelt Sunday: Mrs. Rose Gilbert and family, Mrs. Celia Gilbert and family, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gilbert, Mr. and Mrs. Garn Gilbert and families. Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Ross, Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Ver-nal Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Chad Evans and Betty Hicken. Mr. and Mrs. John Madsen, Mr. and Mrs. George Wilkens, of Duchesne, attended the Relief Re-lief Society program which was held Sunday evening under the direction of Pres. Gladys Ross. |
