Show Drama Night Is Featured By Outstanding Plays By Mrs. Grace Dalgleish MYTON (Special) The. Mutual Mu-tual Improvement Association presented 3 one-act plays for drama night at the Myton L.D.S. Ward Chapel Tuesday evening. The first play, "Memories," was under the direction of the drama director, Mrs. Earl Gin-gell, Gin-gell, with the following cast participating: Mrs. Gingell, Martha Mar-tha Porritt, Joyce Gingell and Shirley Harmon. Old time songs were featured, commencing with "School Days," sung by Carolyn and Raymond Gilbert; "Down by the Old Mill Stream," by Beverly Bev-erly Anderson, accompanied by Elaine Hemphill; "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," Alice Smith, accompanied by Carolyn Dennis. A skit was presented by Gen-ene Gen-ene Harris and Dewey Murray, followed by a song, "I Love You Truly," by Sherry Dennis, accompanied by Carolyn Dennis; Den-nis; skit by Bishop Ben Gilbert and Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Roberts, Rob-erts, with Mrs. Gilbert singing a lullaby; song, "Silver Threads Among the Gold," Leroy Anderson, An-derson, accompanied by Elaine Hemphill; "Put on Your Old Grey Bonnet," Levi Porritt; and "Love's Old Sweet Song," Mrs. Max Jensen, accompanied by Carolyn Dennis. Between plays a comic reading read-ing entitled, "Me and My Downtrodden Down-trodden Sex," was given by Mrs. Af ton. Richens. The second play, entitled "Neighbors," and directed by Mrs. Wm. Peatross, was presented pre-sented by the following cast: Joan Crapo, Faye Frandsen, Mildred Mil-dred Tanner, Margie Gingell, Genene Harris, Helene Hemphill, Hemp-hill, June Robins and Shirley Harmon. With t,his play the song, "Because," was sung by Leroy Anderson. "Exchange" was the name of the third play produced. It was directed by Mrs. Velda Behunin. The cast included David Crapo, Teddy Giles, Arlin Anderson, Alice Smith and Merrill Chandler. Chand-ler. The plays were well received by the enthusiastic audience, as well as by the following stake officers who' attended: Mr?. George Stewart, Mrs. R. V. Larson, Floyd Ross and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Yergensen. |
