Show Bridge Misser In The lews Hither And Yon MYTON (Special) The old Myton . bridge seems to ; be receiving re-ceiving plenty of notoriety since a Price resident took " a nosedive nose-dive off the old pier on Oct. 12th', leaving his car and trailer standing on end in the water. Mrs W. E Burton, who recently recent-ly returned from Portland, Ore., has the following clipping from "The pregonian:" "Myton, Utah, Oct. 14 (AP) Sometimes a familiar road can fool you, Roy. McKinnon, of Price, Utah, learned Monday. Driving to Myton, McKinnon approached a bridge near here only to discover too late the bridge was moved a year and a half ago. 'I always used to come into Myton this way,' he told rescuers as they hauled him from the stream." i Added to this came the same clipping from Jos. N. Cooper, of San Francisco, Calif., who clipped the item from the "Sentinel "Sen-tinel Record," of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mr. Cooper, a former Myton resident, says, "My old home town of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Ar-kansas, isn't as big as New York City, but they get the news, too," referring to the first item clipped from the New York Herald, regarding the accident, which was recently recent-ly mentioned in the Myton news items. Mr. Cooper is a subscriber subscrib-er of the Roosevelt Standard, and so keeps in touch with local lo-cal happenings. |
