Show GET SCOUT PINS Speakers at Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday evening were, Alva Snow, of the high council; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Angus, of Ballard, Bal-lard, and Mrs. Effie Taylor. Scout pins were presented to Terry Larsen, Duane Hamblin and Terry Alexander, with miniature min-iature pins going to their mothers, moth-ers, Mrs. Pearl Larsen, Mrs. Rieta Hamblin and Mrs. Melvin Alexander. Mr. and Mrs. William Blanch, ard spent Monday through Thursday visiting in Salt Lake City with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Blanchard and family. While there they purchased a new Ford car. Corp. Stanley Hardman, of Salt Lake City, spent a few days this week, following his release from the Army, with his sister and brother-in-law,. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fenn, and I family. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Adams ; and son, Stanley, spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday visiting- rela- i tive.s and friends in Pleasant 1 Grove. I Those who attended the Re-I Re-I lief Society and Priesthood Union Un-ion meeting in Roosevelt, Sun-dav, Sun-dav, were: Mr. and Mrs. James Hamblin, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thompson, Mr. and Mrs. Wil-I liam Blanchard, and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fenn.. Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Powell, of Roosevelt, spent Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. James Powell Pow-ell and family. Mr. and Mrs. Marley Hamblin and family spent several days in Salt Lake City this week. They are moving to St. George soon. Dance practice was held Saturday Sat-urday night at the church house Mr. and Mrs. Joe Gleaton, of Provo', and Lynn Miller, who is home on leave from the U. S. Navy, spent Armistice Day visiting friends and relatives here. Mr. and Mrs Frank Thompson Thomp-son and son. Lester, and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Brown and son, Gary, had Sunday dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Roberts Rob-erts and family. |
