Show WIIITEROCKS Madeena Smith Party At Ballard Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brough, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Merkley attended at-tended a party at Ballard ward Friday evening. It was given in honor of Butch LaRose, who just returned from a hospital in Washington, D. C, where he has been for three years. Missionaries from all the Indian In-dian Mission served a delicious lunch. The program was given by the Indian people. Mrs. Viola Horrocks, teacher at the Whiterocks School, made a trip to Salt Lake City one day last week in the interest of the Junior Red Cross for which she is chairman. s Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hoops and family visited in Rangely over the weekend at the home of Bill Workman. Dr. Spendlove and nurse, Mrs. Rust, of Vernal, were at school Friday and gave diptheria shots to the children. The children of Mrs. Viola Horrocks' room presented" a play "The Princess Who Would Not Laugh." The mothers enjoyed lunch with the children. Mrs. Stella Apowarroo was very ill last week. The ward and Indian Relief Society met together Wednesday Wednes-day and quilted two quilts, one for Edith Yermie and one for Betty Walkup. They also tied one for Mrs. Ora Ellingford. |
