Show LAPOINT Mis. Mable Jenkins P-TA Organized, Parents At School Parents Day was observed in Lapoint School on Thursday with a large crowd of parents attending. The P-TA was organized or-ganized with Waine Nielson, as president; Jennie Nielsen, vice-president, vice-president, and Carma Hacking, secretary. The out-going president presi-dent was Laris Wooley; vice-president, vice-president, Rulon Rasmussen and Merle Horrocks, secretary. Mrs. Kenneth Hartle entertained enter-tained at a birthday, party on Saturday for her son. Don's 8th birthday. Games were played and lunch served. Mr. and Mrs. Lamont Nielson entertained at a Bunco party on Saturday night for Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thompson, from Los Angeles, who are visiting here. Charles Taylor, Sr. was a visitor in Salt Lake City the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Thompson and baby, of Los Angeles, Calif., are visiting his mother, Mrs. Carolina Thompson. He is recuperating re-cuperating from a recent attack at-tack of polio. They are former residents of Lapoint. Mr. and Mrs. Edison Holmes are visiting at their former home in Kansas. |
