Show Mrs. Garda Seeley .... Attend Party j Mr. and Mrs. Lee Goodrich, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winkler, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lisonbee, Mrs. Zola Stevenson, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Bird and Mr. and Mrs. Orie Cook were among those attending the Altamont High School employees' "party Friday evening. Folloving the games, a delicious turkey dinner, with all the trimmings, a program and square dancing made the evening eve-ning a complete success. PREPARE FOR BAZAAR A large group of 'ladies attended at-tended the Relief Society work day at the ward chapel Tuesday. The day was spent in making articles for the Relief Society Bazaar, to be held in December. Mr. and Mrs.'Arvil Stone, of Lehi, visited on Saturday here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Goodrich Good-rich went to Vernal, Sunday, to see Rulon Goodrich, who is in the Vernal Hospital. Rulon has pneumonia. Mrs. Velva Gagon and Mrs. Nellie Hancock spent a few days here visiting with relatives. They returned to their homes in Salt Lake City, Sunday. Mrs. Belle Bird. Mrs. Florence Williams. Mrs. Mary Bird and Mrs. Mary Lisonbee spent Thursday visiting with relatives in Vernal. Mrs. Lisonbee remained re-mained there to visit with her sister, Mrs. Helen Richardson. Mr. and Mrs. John H. Cook, of Ballard, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich. VISIT SCHOOL Twenty-six parents from Bluebell, Blue-bell, went . to school Friday, while their boys and girls remained re-mained at home. The parents visited the classes, met the teachers, had their dinner and had an enjoyable day. Mr. and Mrs. Axel Anderson ; and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Good- rich, of Roosevelt, visited Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich. STAKE PRESIDENT IS SPEAKER SUNDAY Pres. Wm. Brotherson, of Bon-eta, Bon-eta, was the guest speaker in Sacrament meeting on Sunday. Other speakers were Reed Anderson; An-derson; the Bluebird girls, under un-der the direction of their teacher, teach-er, Mrs. Lydia Hancock, told faith promoting stories about the Apostles. The girls were LaRee Larsen, Jeanne Seeley, Jean Remington and Mary Lee Lisonbee. The small children of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Timothy, of Altonah, stayed here with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray, while their parents were on the Temple Excursion, to Salt Lake City. Those from Bluebell going on the Moon Lake stake Temple Excursion were, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Goodrich and Mrs. Agnes Ag-nes Larsen. Mrs. Mina Goodrich entertained entertain-ed at a lovely dinner on Friday. The following guests enjoyed the dinner: Mrs. Nellie Hancock, Mrs. Velva Gagon, Mrs. Sylvia Goodrich and Martin L. Hancock. Han-cock. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lattur-ner, Lattur-ner, of Price, were Saturday and Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. M. C. Seeley. Judy and Jerry Lambert were overnight guests of their grandmother grand-mother Mrs. Myrtle Lambert, of Roostvelt on Sunday. |
