Show Myton Mrs. Grace Dalgleish Mrs. Homer Robinson was hostess hos-tess Friday afternoon to members and guests of Friday Bridge club. The event was enjoyed by Mrs. Floyd Lamb, Mrs. Wm. Koehler, Mrs. W. H. Linck, Miss Alice Todd, Mrs. James Dalgleish, Dal-gleish, Mrs. H. W. Davenport and Mrs. George Roth. High score was won by Mrs. Lamb. Announcement has been received re-ceived of the marriage of Miss Betty LaMar Wells, daughter of Mrs. Ilia Wells, of Salt Lake, to James E. Andrews, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Andrews, also of Salt Lake. Vows were repeated at Elko, Nevada, November 2. The bride made her home with her uncle and aunt. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris, and attended Roosevelt high school prior to her marriage. A reception was held for the young couple at the home of the bride's mother, December De-cember 10. Max Morrill spent a few days in Salt Lake, returning Friday. Mrs. George Roth, of Vernal, was a weekend visitor at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koehler. Koeh-ler. Mr. and Mrs. Marion R, Masen and baby arrived Thursday from Springville to visit at the Earl Fowler home and with other relatives. Mrs. Madsen was formerly form-erly Miss Betty Fowler. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles left Saturday for Lyman, Ohio, where they will pick up two school buses for the Duchesne County School District. Mr. and Mrs. Harris will visit relatives while enroute; Mr. and Mrs Giles will enjoy a wedding trip to midwest mid-west and eastern points. Mr. and Mrs. Wes Jenson and two small daughters left Saturday Satur-day for Los Angeles where they will join Mrs. Jenson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. D. Lewis, and remain re-main for the winter. Mrs. Nettie Thompson, of Salt Lake City, is visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Paul Williams. Wil-liams. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hadden, who have been residing at Pu eblo, Colorado for the past few years, moved back to their ranch in Pleasant Valley last week to make their home. Guy Richards, of Price, was a Myton business visitor Saturday. Satur-day. Mrs. Louis Monks and her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Stewart, moved to Salt Lake City, Saturday. Mr. Monks will remain here for the present to attend to his interests in this district. Wm. R. Preece, who relumed last week from Salt Lake City, is convalescing' at his home following fol-lowing a serious illness. He is improving steadily. Mr. and Mrs. John Wogec, of Roosevelt visited Sunday at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Malt Uresk. While there they enjoyed en-joyed a duck hunt. Vern Brummett, who is employed em-ployed at the Nutter ranch in Ninemile, spent Monday and Tuesday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Brummett. The annual Myton ward reunion re-union and the Relief Society bazaar ba-zaar is planned for Friday evening, eve-ning, December 10, at the Myton My-ton L D S ward chapel. This occasion oc-casion is always one of the social so-cial events of the year and every one attends to enjoy the delicious dinner which the Relief Society so capably prepares, and the program pro-gram and fun that follow later in the evening. |
