Show Myton City News Section ON FURLOUGH Tech. Sgt. Alma Murdock of Heber was visiting friends last week end while on his furlough. Alma was formerly of Myton. S-Sgt. and Mrs. Eugene E. Miller of Keans were visiting friends over the week end. Mr, Miller is in the troop movement division and Mrs. Miller works, in the Red Cross. Kenneth McClcllan went to San Francisco Monday to await , his call to the Navy. Farewell Party Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Preece gave a chicken supper Friday evening in honor of their son Bill, who was home on a furlough. The following were present: Mrs. John McClellan and son Kenneth, Ken-neth, Mrs.' Mat Uresh, Johnnie and Louey, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Kronquist. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Perkins, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Harris, Mr. and Mrs. James Dal-gleish, Dal-gleish, Mr. and Mrs Ole Peter-znn Peter-znn Mr and Mrs. Earl Glneell. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd, Miss Alice Todd, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Blaine, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Emery Niclson, Mrs. Wm. Linck, Art Cedarquist, Mrs. Wm. Koehlcr. After refreshments were served Louey Uresk entertained the group with a picture show. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Preece and daughter, daugh-ter, Edith Nell went to Salt Lake with Billic Saturday. Kay Elder returned home Wednesday lrom Salt Lake City. Kay has joined the navy and will await his call. Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Muse went to Provo Friday to bring Mrs. Muse's mother, Mrs. Ren Fenn home. Mrs. Fenn was operated op-erated on in Provo. Dave Allen came home Thursday. Thurs-day. Mr. Allen has been visiting his daughters in Pleasant Grove and Idaho for a -week. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Thompson made a business trip to Salt Lake City Thursday. They came home Sunday. John L. Johnson went to Preston, Pres-ton, Idaho, Monday to be with his brother who underwent an operation. Miss Beverly Portridge went to Monvia, California Saturday, where she has employment. Mr. and Mrs. George Funk, were here taking care of business busi-ness over the week end. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hardinger and son are visiting this week with Mr. and Mrs. Emery Niclson. Nicl-son. Ed Hart of Duchesne was visiting visit-ing Mr. and Mrs. James Dal-gleish Dal-gleish Friday. Arthur Cedarquist of Twin Falls is a guest of the Todd family fam-ily while here taking care of business. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Adams and daughter Bonnie were visit- ing Mr. and Mrs. James Dal-gleish Dal-gleish Friday. Bonnie stayed until un-til Sunday. Commander of District No. 5, Roland Krebs came home from Chicago Saturday. While there he attended the National convention con-vention of the Legion and Auxiliary. Auxi-liary. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Taylor of Salt Lake City are visiting Ken's father, Guy Taylor and family this week. Mrs. Ed Thompson of Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove was visiting her baby over the week end. Her mother, Mrs. Guy Taylor is taking care of the baby while Mrs. Thompson Thomp-son works. Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray came Sunday with a load of peaches from Layton. Mr. Murray Mur-ray went back to work Monday. Frank Defa, Mrs. Tracy Roberts Rob-erts and Mrs. Viola Defa and two sons were here on business Friday. Ellic Nez came home from Salt Lake City Monday. He has been going to school and working work-ing part lime. Mrs. R. T. Bonnin of Roosevelt Roose-velt was a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Koehler over the week end. Mrs. S. A. Wells of Vernal has been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Harris the past ten days. Howard Roberts went to Salt Lake City and Provo Sunday to take care of business. Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Bird and sons, Leland and Melvin were visiting Mr. and Mrs. Emery Nielson Friday. |
