Curtis Merkeley, of Duchesne, held a Wear-Ever demonstration at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Al-don Al-don Carroll, Sunday night. The evening was spent in card games and a nice lunch was served to 16 guests. The Altonah Ward Relief So- ciety held its annual birthday I party, March 16 in the ward hall. Lunch was sold from 11 a. m. until 2 p. m., followed by a bazaar ba-zaar and program, with a dance in the evening. A quilt was raffled raf-fled with Mrs. Florence Mohl-man Mohl-man drawing the lucky ticket. Mr. and Mrs. Dallas Ames, Clinty and Glen Ames, Mrs. Lee Jesscn and Mrs. Minnie Reay attended at-tended the funeral services for Mrs. Reay's sister, Mrs. Eliza Safford, at Meadow. Mr. and Mrs. Drue Allred and Mrs. Clarence Jones spent Wednesday Wed-nesday in Roosevelt. Drue has been appointed wiring inspector for the Moon Lake R.E.A. association. asso-ciation. Linford Maxficld accompanied accompan-ied a group of men from the Moon Lake Stake to Provo, Friday, Fri-day, to attend a Boy Scout banquet. ban-quet. Niel Maxfield, who is going to school in Price, spent the weekend at home. The Altamont Seminary class gave a program in Sacrament meeting Sunday, under the direction di-rection of their teacher, Ben Gomm. Those taking part were Betty Holder, Peggy Case, La-vada La-vada Powell and Lorraine Das-trup, Das-trup, all of Mt, Emmons. Clyde Murray spent the weekend week-end with his parents, Mr and Mrs. J. B. Murray. Clyde is going go-ing to school in Salt Lake. |
