Show Lapoint Mrs. Mable Jenkins LaRue Stacy, of Salt Lake City, has' been called home to be with her mother, Mrs. David I. Wilson. Romana Harrison, of Price, is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Harrison. - LaVar Sprouse, of Hayden, is staying with her grandmother, Mrs. Mae Sprouse, and attending Alterra High school. The Daughters of Utah Pioneers Pio-neers held their regular meeting Thursday. March 18 at the home of Mrs. Mable Jenkins, with 1st i Captain June Lee conducting. The lesson was given by Mildred Mowrey from the journal of George Cannon Lambert. Refreshments Re-freshments were served by June Lee, Ardia Neilson and Mrs. 1 Zeth Lee. Little Marlene Horrocks celebrated cele-brated her 5th birthday anniversary anniver-sary March 14 with a delightful party at the home of her grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jenkins. Duchesne hospital, spent the weekend with her husband, Johnny Lambert, Jr. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hoops have moved from the old Gadd farm into the home which Dean Preece bought last fall. Lila Bigelow returned Tuesday Tues-day from American Fork, where she has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Rachel Bell, and her mother, moth-er, Elizabeth Hair. The Golden Gleaners met Thursday evening, March 18 with Gleaner girls present from all wards. The Ernest Johnson family, from Glines Ward of Vernal, presented the program in Sacrament Sacra-ment meeting March 14. Oral Rasmussen, of Provo, is spending her spring vacation with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Rasmussen. A Soil Conservation film and pictures of the Centennial parade pa-rade were shown at the Milton Wooley home last week. |
