When he got his pay, he carefully care-fully taped a $20 bill to the leg of the pigeon and released it. Mrs. Andanowskl, hearing a commotion com-motion in the rookery, examined a lot of the 60 birds before she found the one entrusted with the money. It had arrived safely. |
