Show Randleft Nanna Jarman The Randlctt Ward Relief Society So-ciety held its annual March 17th celebration honoring the 106lh anniversary of the organization of the Relief Society. A delicious dinner was served to 60 guests. Mrs. Jennie McMullin, president of the organization, presided and introduced Mrs. Thelma Young, mistress of ceremonies. A splendid splen-did program was presented by members of Uintah High school. The evening was climaxed with old-time dancing, under the direction di-rection of Mrs. Jesse Brough. Sacrament meeting Sunday-was Sunday-was under the direction of the Relief Society with President Jennie McMullin conducting. The Bee Hive and Junior girls entertained their mothers, Friday Fri-day evening at the annual Mothers and Daughters party at the home of Leah Mae Pickup. Several members of the ward attended Sacrament meeting in Ballard Sunday, where the Alterra Al-terra High school Seminary Declamation Dec-lamation talks were given. Carol Jensen was one of the participants. partici-pants. Lula Dudley taught school 3 days last week during the absence ab-sence of Miss Preccc. Ethyl Young accompanied Mrs. Jack Young to Vernal, Friday, to see Mrs. Young's new grandchild, grand-child, a son born to Mr. and Mrs. Tonnie Broome on Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Jess Jensen went to Vernal, Saturday, so Irene could spend her 6lh birthday with her grandfather, M. R. Westovcr. The sewing class was held Thursday aflernodn at the home of Marion Taylor. |
