Show School Doings ROOSEVELT HIGH SCHOOL The Spur club initiated new members in the R.II.S. gym, Monday evening, Oct. 6. The faculty took the lime-Wednesday lime-Wednesday when they presented the annual Faculty Assembly. One of the outstanding features was the male quintette which, as Mr. Andrews said, "Would have been a fine group, except that Mr. Loosle kept on the tune." The students and football team celebrated our victory over the Uintah Utes at the Roosevelt Seminary dance Wednesday eve-ning, eve-ning, Oct. 8. , A two-day holiday was en., joyed Thursday and Friday' when teachers attended the TJ ' ;r E.A. convention in Salt Lake The Alexander Novelty Trio presented an interesting musical and dramatic program Tuesday afternoon as part of the lyceum series. Freshman initiation has been in full swing since Tuesday with the Freshies roaming the campus looking like lost souls their hair is shaggy; their. lms ' are pale; their skin is livid (with lipstick freely applied by the Sophies) and they spend the ' greater part of their time on their knees polishing the shoes of more V fortunate upper-classmen. |
