The Talmage bus took the high school students from Talmage, Mtn. Home and Boneta to the opening school dance, Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Mrs. LaVerl Groose, of Long Beach, California, is visiting at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Wett, while her husband is in the Navy in China. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Thayne Oct. 3 at the Roosevelt hospital. School was closed Thursday and Friday so that teachers could attend U.E.A. Mr. and Mrs. Glen Van Tassel and family and Larry Van Tassel were in Vernal, Sunday. Visitors at Mtn. Home church on Sunday included Mr. and Mrs. Claud McDonald and fam-l fam-l ily and Mrs. Mae Burton. ' |
