Show Curbing Of Food Waste Emphasized Conservation of food and feed by Utah housewives, farmers and commercial food and feed handlers hand-lers can do much toward providing pro-viding the needed grain and other oth-er food supplies for the starving nations of western Europe, W. W. Owens, Utah State Extension Service director, said today. "Farmers, housewives, grocery men, cafe owners and others should be careful in their daily practices to avoid unnecessary waste of foodstuffs that are so badly needed abroad," Director Owens said. As head of the state extension, service, Mr. Owens urged that all Utahns comply with the volunteer vol-unteer food rationing measures outlined by Charles Luckman, chairman of President Truman s Citizen's Food committee.
