Show Heart Ailment Claims Life Of Ben A. Miles Benjamin Albert Miles, 58, Roosevelt hide and fur dealer, died at his home in Roosevelt Thursday morning of a heart ailment. Born February , 1889 at Men-an, Men-an, Idaho, he was a son of Benjamin Ben-jamin Franklin and Rachel Ship-pen Ship-pen Miles. He moved with his family to Peoa, Summit county residing there until 1914 when, with his parents, he moved to Vernal. He was married to Ellen Shaffer Shaf-fer at Vernal, March 23, 1915 and in 1922 moved to Roosevelt. Besides his widow he is sur-j vived by six children: Newell Albert, Irvin Thomas Miles, and Mrs. Virginia Fenn, Roosevelt; Mrs. Venice Corey, Twin Falls, Idaho; Mrs Gladys Lindsey, Draggerton, and Mrs. Ardith Brown, Salt Lake City; Five sis-trs, sis-trs, Mrs. Zina Wilkins. Vernal; Mrs. Mary Beccroft and Mrs. Margaret Rudy, Roosevelt; Mrs. Pearl Straughn, Twin Falls. Idaho, and Mrs. Blanche Elaz-zard, Elaz-zard, Tooele. Funeral services will be con ducted Sunday at 2 p. m. in the Roosevelt L D S tabernacle with Bishop E. J. Nixon officiating Friends may call at the Qlpir. mortuary in Roosevelt all day Saturday and at the family real, dence Sunday from 10 a m until time for the services ' Burial will be in the Roo'sevpH city cemetery. 11 |
